If the developer' have issues with retailers pushing used games upon the masses, that is still not my problem. It is a problem with the relationship between the retailer and the developer/publisher. I understand that the retailer is really the one holding all the cards in the situation, but there's nothing I can do about that. Blaming me for this issue is only going to increase the likely-hood that I will purchase your game used, even if I was going to purchase it new.
That said, I've not purchased a used game since the SNES era and mainly rent console games from our Gamefly overlords. I suspect that makes me just as bad as those who purchase used games. However, if I feel a game is worth supporting I'll gladly purchase the game new afterwords... though I guess I might as well just start purchasing the rented copies from Gamefly if developers are going to bitch about me being a bad consumer.
