New games come with a single-use code for multiplayer. People paying $60 for a new game will not have to pay another $10 for the multiplayer code -- it's included with the game. The people who will have to pay the $10 for access to multiplayer are those who bought the game used without the single-use key.
So, this is something that is covered as part of the initial price point you paid, if you bought it new.
