If you buy a used game, your experience aren't degraded, at all, compared to if you bought it new.
If you buy a used car then there will be wear on it, unless it has been taken care of like a little baby (but then you most likely end up paying MORE then when it was new).
That is why Gamestop can shelf used copies of a game next to the new ones and simply tell their customers that the used game is EXACTLY THE SAME THING as the new one, but cheaper. That is why it's so fucked up for games.
