Preparing for a long weekend, Shackers? If you need some reading through Memorial Day, we have quite a list:

To continue our Diablo 3 coverage, I posted my review of the game, and Blizzard offers news about hotfixes and a new patch next week.

Under the heading of bad news, 38 Studios has apparently laid off its entire staff and the staff of subsidiary Big Huge Games. The timing is interesting since only hour earlier, co-founder Curt Schilling has tweeted a link to new screens for it MMO Copernicus. As a side note, apparently Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning needed to sell 3 million units to break even.

If you are into trailers, check out the eerie live-action movie of the upcoming Metro: Last Night. The silence near the end is deafening. Also, there is an incredibly funny, tongue-in-cheek trailer for Mad Riders.

Andrew took a look at the court documents in the Activision lawsuit against Infinity Ward's founders. He also reported on the server population numbers for Star Wars: The Old Republic to see how the game was faring.

Finally, be sure to listen to the new Weekend Confirmed for the last gaming from Garnett, Jeff and the rest!

Have a great weekend. Catch you in the forums!
