Newsflash: this game already has multiplayer key validation before you can play online. they just either failed to include or are too stupid/lazy to implement any of a number of ways to solve this relatively easy-to-solve problem. Apparently they'd rather just bitch about the pirates and leave their paying customers with the risk of not being able to play online when a pirate happens to keygen the same key they're using.
Maybe the reality is they just are tired of developing PC games and are looking for excuses not to make another one, because given the high sales volume it's certainly not like piracy has killed sales, only that maybe, possibly, sales would perhaps be even greater if they'd start doing a better job with their key authorization.. So really any blame ends up right back at their feet..
