So, what's new in CryEngine 3?

Unreal Engine 4 shown off in Infiltrator trailer

MechWarrior Online to launch in 'late summer'

Developer Piranha Games has been releasing regular updates for MechWarrior Online since the game went into open beta in late October. But now, Shacknews has learned of three new features that will be rolling out leading up to the game's official release late this summer.

Hawken dev details the challenges of virtual reality

After it was revealed that Doom 3: BFG would not be shipping with the Oculus Rift, another game had to step forward to be the pack in for the VR goggles once they shipped to retail. Adhesive Games' Hawken accepted the challenge.

Diablo 3's auction houses 'really hurt the game,' former game director says

Diablo 3's game director Jay Wilson admitted today that both the real money and gold-based auction houses have "really hurt the game," but Blizzard hopes to fix the problems it has caused in minimizing item values instead of shutting them down completely.

Nintendo's Miiverse coming to smartphones in May

The Miiverse app for smartphones is coming in April or May, Nintendo said at GDC. The company also promised an impending 3DS version, but didn't give a release window for it.
