H1N1 is Sony Online Entertainment's ambitious zombie-themed MMO. Game designer Jimmy Whisenhunt and technical director Tom Schenck appeared on the game's Twitch channel to walk players through its crafting, day and night cycles, and combat.
Today, CCP has announced that it has canceled World of Darkness, and will be cutting 56 jobs from its Atlanta studio. "The decision to end the World of Darkness MMO project is one of the hardest I've ever had to make," CEO Hilmar Veigar Pétursson said in a statement.
Sony Online Entertainment will reveal a new MMO tonight. Called H1Z1, the game will allow players "to take on the role of an apocalypse survivor who is in a world that is filled with zombies."
"We're not trying to make a game that everybody who plays games will automatically buy," Bethesda said.
"SWG PLAYERS - OUR NEXT GAME (not announced yet) IS DEDICATED TO YOU. Once we launch it... you can come home now."
