For example, a link to a nude photograph was available in the app. A screenshot is attached.

I was afraid of this actually. I just upgraded the API to included post categories, and it looks like I have to force NWS to off. I know it sucks.

Like how internet chat things won't let people under 13 use them, it wouldn't be about allowing porn but instead would be about covering their arses without throwing the baby out with the bathwater as they are doing at the moment.
Also similar to the "Experience/Rating may change with on-line play" warnings on multiplayer games.
I can understand them not wanting to sanction actual porn apps because the news media would print retarded stories about the phone like they did with the PSP when it came out and people found it could view JPEGs and web pages.
