As the latest core entries to the Pokemon series, Sword and Shield will take players to the new location known as Galar. The presentation is set to last just a short one, only about 15 minutes, but considering how densely packed Nintendo Directs usually are, fans can expect plenty of fresh details. Catch the presentation starting at 6:00 a.m. Pacific time in the embed below.

For those who may have missed out, The Pokemon Company held a press conference last week wherein the studio announced loads of new projects. Perhaps one of the more interesting announcements was the reveal of Pokemon Sleep, which makes use of essential human rest time as a gameplay mechanic. Alongside this, the company also announced a sleep tracking device, plus an all new input option called Pokemon Go Plus+.

One of the announcements was also regarding Pokemon Home, a cloud-based service that allows users to back up and share Pokemon across several games. Though Nintendo has said that the latest direct will focus on Sword and Shield specifically, it's likely that we'll hear at least a little information about how these games will tie into the Pokemon Home service.

Don't miss out on any of the action: the Pokemon Sword and Shield Nintendo Direct airs on June 5 starting at 6 a.m. Pacific or 9 a.m. Eastern time. If you happen to miss the show, head on over to Shacknews' Pokemon Sword and Shield home page to catch up on the latest highlights.
