How to get Luxurious Toast Emote in Destiny 2

Unlock the Luxurious Toast emote and grow fat with strength as you relax like Destiny 2's Emperor Calus.

Unlike other emotes in Destiny 2, the Luxurious Toast is actually unlockable. This opulent emote channels the exuberant nature of Emperor Calus, and now that it’s been updated, you’re going to want to get your hands on it.

How to get Luxurious Toast emote

The Luxurious Toast emote in Destiny 2 is unlocked in the Spire of Stars raid lair. Thankfully, you do not need to complete the entire raid, just the opening section in the Statue Garden. Upon completing the Statue Garden, a chest will appear at the rear of the room near the exit chute. The Luxurious Toast emote has a chance of dropping from this chest – as does the Sleeper Simulant Exotic Catalyst on Prestige difficulty.

The Luxurious Toast emote is unlocked from the first encounter in the Spire of Stars raid lair.

Given that Season of Opulence is all about Emperor Calus and the Leviathan, it’s no surprise that this emote is going to be a hot commodity. As mentioned above, the emote has received an update at the start of Season of Opulence. Now, whenever you activate the emote, the sitting animation will last indefinitely. It used to be an extremely short emote that finished shortly after the chalice was thrown away.

With the Luxurious Toast emote unlocked, you can now live your best life – just as Emperor Calus would have wanted.

Season of Opulence is going to be the last content drop in Destiny 2 Year 2. What lies in wait is a new six-player activity called the Menagerie. This activity has players working together to take down bosses to claim powerful rewards. In order to get these rewards, players will need to acquire something called a Chalice of Opulence and insert runes prior to launching the new activity. It’s also mysterious!
