The long-awaited shooter Borderlands 3 is officially being revealed at PAX East 2019 during a Gearbox Software panel and you can watch it here with us.
Boston's PAX is about to kick off and the festivities will be led by a long-awaited title from Gearbox. To start PAX East, the studio is hosting a livestream introducing the world to Borderlands 3 and you can watch along with the Shacknews crew right here to see what's coming next in the shooter series.
Gearbox teased onlookers with a stylized image previously, only hinting at a potential reveal for the long-awaited third main entry in the Borderlands franchise. Soon after, the team explicitly declared that Borderlands 3 would be the top of the upcoming stream with the Mask of Mayhem trailer. Today, March 28, the Gearbox crew is hosting a PAX East 2019 panel where the game will officially be revealed. It starts at 2 PM ET and you can watch it below.
Gearbox PAX East 2019 panel and Borderlands 3 reveal livestream
The Gearbox PAX East 2019 panel, including the reveal of Borderlands 3, will be taking place at the event but also live-streamed on official Gearbox YouTube and Twitch channels. The stream will run for one hour, from 2 PM ET to 3 PM ET, on March 28, 2019.

Up until now, news regarding Borderlands 3 has just been a series of disappointing announcements that it wouldn't be appearing at other events. The most recent releases for the series were Tales from the Borderlands, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!, and Borderlands 2 VR. There was also a cool moment where Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford told Elon Musk that the Boring Company flamethrower would be added to the next Borderlands game. Will that conversation bear any real fruit? We'll have to wait and see.

If I wasn't interested, I wouldn't have watched the trailer. It looks like an expansion pack for Borderlands 2, but with weirdly unexpressive animation compared to the previous games. And the trailer looked like it was cut in about 2 hours right before the show started. Did Gearbox bleed a bunch of staff last year?
