Borderlands 3 Will Now Include Elon Musk's Boring Company Flamethrower

If you miss out on the $500 weapon, there will be an incredibly more reasonable way to get your hands on it.

The flamethrower from Elon Musk's Boring Company is a ridiculous product that has already brought in millions via pre-order. It's so ridiculous, in fact, a Gearbox developer outright told Musk that it will be included in the next Borderlands game, a series known for its eclectic and massive arsenal of weapons.

DontFeedTheGamers reported the find and the new addition will likely be an earned easter egg that people will be scrambling for when the next Borderlands launches, but there's potential for more if the conversation between Gearbox and Elon Musk continues. In the series, the many weapons fall into groups of different fictional manufacturers and those companies determine some attributes and aesthetics for the different gun classes.

The Boring Company already sounds like something straight out of Borderlands, so it would fit quite snug with the game's humor and design. What say you Chatty? What other weapons from The Boring Company would you toss into Borderlands 3?
