Apple announces iOS 12 launch date at special event

iPhone 5s users and beyond will be able to get access to all of the new operating system's new features, including group FaceTime

During Apple's live special event, there was a lot discussed regarding the futures for some of the company's mobile devices, but some major news was dropped that affects current iPhone users as well. Next week on September 17, 2018, devices from the iPhone 5s onward will all be able to update to the new iOS 12.

Apple broke down the major additions coming via iOS 12 at WWDC 2018 earlier in the summer, so users can expect group FaceTime that supports up to 32 people at once, an improved Do Not Disturb setting, screen time tracking to see what you use most, and a whole lot more.
