Darksiders 3 had co-op Four Horsemen planned

Darksiders 3 is in limbo right now after the demise of THQ and the subsequent purchase of the IP by Nordic Games. But what would have happened if Vigil could have carried the series forward? Co-op multiplayer for one.

Nordic Games sees 'great potential' in Darksiders and Red Faction sequels

"Most of these games have sold in the millions. There is a love for these titles. Red Faction has millions of fans. They were disappointed with the last installment, but I think there is potential in it. And of course Darksiders, everyone, everyone would like to see something come from that."

Platinum Games interested in Darksiders franchise

Platinum Games has expressed an interest in both recruiting talent from Vigil Games and purchasing the Darksiders IP, though it says it would be "on the cheap."

Darksiders 2: Abyssal Forge DLC announced

It's a hard job, being Death, as there are always more people dying to deal with, especially if you go around whacking them with your scythe. Death's troubles in Darksiders II aren't over yet, as THQ today announced it'll release a second sizeable helping of downloadable content next week. 'Abyssal Forge' will see the horseman looking into the eponymous forge, which has been used to construct an army that "threatens all creation." That's probably bad.
