My big issue with this is the fact that Google keeps talking up the openness bullshit to look like the good guys, when it's clearly an unfair competitive move that most any other normal company would act on. It's all very hypocritical. If Google didn't care about competition with iOS they would not have dropped it while keeping flash - they could have just added WebM and use good old evangelization to promote it. Google will obviously never admit to this, but it needs to be said - this is just a maneuver against iOS, and it sucks because they are using their ecosystem in ways that have been considered unfair in the past in order to hinder a competitive product, at the expense of great unneeded disruption to other systems, users and companies.
That's all, hope that makes sense.
