Today, I continue posting random songs to this Cortex platform to ask Shackers the same question. Does this song suck? Today's song is A. Swayze & the Ghosts' "Connect to Consume."
Reasons it might suck:
- The song sounds kinda punk, but it is about social media corporations
- They literally just list off companies
- It is hard to sound hard or punk while yelling Facebook...
- It is basically the opposite of punk in a sense
- The music is pretty basic too
- 26,000 views on YouTube
- Shacknews has videos that perform better
- and we kinda suck

- The music video makes me want to punch all of the people taking selfies
- Lead singer seems too damn emo
Reasons it might not suck:
- This song is featured in the new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2
- It seems like a fine lazy poppy punk song at its core
- Connect to Consume is a good title
- It really describes society today
- Choreographed dance segments are always appreciated in music videos
- Band's name reminds me of Patrick Swayze
