Hockey seasons are long, like 80 something stupid games plus playoffs. After my last stream of NHL Breakaway '99, a realization hit me. Playing games that last 30 minutes each is going to add up quickly. Not only that but I let the man with the briefcase goad me into starting my season with full rules on. Of course I said to myself,
All in all, it would take well over 20 streams to finish this game and ain't nobody want to watch all that! So today at 2pm Pacific time/5pm Eastern Time, I'm restarting the season that is completely cut in half! Five minute periods, no offsides or two line passes, and a little eased up difficulty. It's my first sports sim experience, leave me alone, I gotta beat these games. With this new format, I'll be able to finish one to two full months of the season per stream which is 8-10 games. It should be much faster and more exciting for you and me! Be sure to tune in later today, live on Shacknews Twitch or on the embed in this article!
Shacknews would also like to thank everyone that stops by to say hello and provide some chatter for the streams. It’s always great to hear from viewers and members from the Chatty community.
