The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is coming tomorrow, and it's receiving wide critical praise across the board. Our own Jason Faulkner said in the Shacknews review that this Zelda game is an instant classic, and a marked sea change from the traditional Zelda formula that is both more open and more difficult. Check out the below review round-up to see how our take compares with scores from various other publications.
Shacknews - 9/10 - "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game that is meant to be loved and savored for years to come, and I'm sure it will be looked back on with as much fanfare and admiration as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Nintendo's other hallmark titles."

Steve Watts posted a new article, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Reviews Round-Up
Well shit, considering that there was shitall to play on both xbone and ps4 on launch the $300 bucks zelda machine mockery seems to turn out as something of a positive value proposition given that I spent close to 500 bucks for a 1070 to play mainly witcher 3.
Welp, hype meter just went through the roof. I'm glad I wasn't really expecting much until now. And I can play it tomorrow? Fuck yes.
I guess I'll enjoy my preorder after all. Although I never doubted the game would be anything but excellent. Has there ever been a bad Zelda game?
Bad? Not really. Just above average? Yes.
The last two 3D Zeldas had horrible openings with their tutorial sections.
When I got fifteen minutes into my BotW demo at E3 I turned to the rep next to me and said that the progress I'd made and what I'd learned so far would have taken three hours in Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword.
Can't wait for tomorrow
Awesome! Tonight is going to own my Wii U is ready!
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild... you will be mine :)
So I consistently see the reviews mention frame rate issue for the switch when docked. Does the Wii U have issues. If not what is the reason to get it on the switch?
