It’s that time of year again! This Friday marks the beginning of the commercial Holiday season, when people decide it’s a good idea to camp outside of major retailers and skip out on Thanksgiving to score deals on fancy flatscreen TVs.
Because we want to give you the very best, here’s a helpful guide to the many deals that will be circulating on Black Friday. Feel free to take to the Chatty with any other deals you’ve seen, and keep checking back as we continue to update it throughout the week!
Pro Shopping Tips:
Be Wary of Quality
This is not necessarily true of everyone or everything, but some companies will manufacture products for Black Friday with cheaper components and construction to help avoid taking a major loss on sales. If possible, try and make sure what you’re buying is of the highest possible quality.
Shop Around/Price Compare
There will always be places that might carry what you want for a better price. Go into Black Friday with an idea of what you want to buy, and don’t be afraid to rummage through several different places to find the best offer.
Don’t Go to Wal-Mart. Don’t Do It.
The first time I ever went out for a true Black Friday midnight run, I went with a handful of friends to the nearby Wal-Mart. There were well over two thousand people flooding it, and barely anything was marked down.It was a madhouse. People fought over DVDs, the aisles in the Electronics department were so crowded it was nearly impossible to get through, and the cash registers were clogged with impossibly long lines. Trust me; it ain’t worth it.
Below is our (living) list of curated Black Friday deals we think you’ll enjoy, as well as a few pre-Black Friday deals available before the big day. Look for our Cyber Monday list later this week!

Cassidee Moser posted a new article, Black Friday 2016: Best Xbox One, PlayStation 4, 3DS and Wii U Deals
I want a $50 2DS just for Pokemon :(
Yea I wanted to get the boy a new 2DS and was hoping to see a good deal.
He's actually still using my old fatty DS still. The fucking thing will not die.
man i wish i could go get a new 3ds now instead of having to go out friday.
somewhat related I guess but why is there no black xbox s?
Purely speculation on my part, but probably to distinguish the standard (black) Xbox One from the "S" variant.
Is there a PC specific article in the works? Hoping some place is offering BF1 for $35.
Also agree with not going to Walmart. My brother and I went there 7 years ago to pick up the cheap 360 + guitar hero 2 bundle for my brother and his family. We got there at 4am in -10 degree weather and separated to wait in line at the left and right side doors. I was still drunk from Thanksgiving, so I didn't feel the cold as much as everyone else did. Once the doors were opened, I sprinted to the back because I didn't stand in the cold for nothing. I ended up beating everyone by like 10 seconds, grabbed the box, then stepped aside as quickly as possible to watch everyone else. For a couple minutes it became complete madness as everyone grabbed each box and it soon devolved into quick tug of war matches when the stock got low. We walked away happy, getting what we came for and had a victory breakfast, but we're never doing that again. It's just too much stress and you lose your sanity.
A week later, his wife decided that the 360 wasn't child friendly enough (they have 3 kids), and made him return it for a Wii :(
40 on the origin store. Less if you get that and TF2
Are there any deals on Dishonored Remaster , preferably, digital edition ?
I want to play 2 but I've been told to play the Remaster of 1 first .
It is $10 on Xbox Live during their sale. Not sure if PSN has anything similar going for it.
Don't suppose you could play it on PC? I have a digital code that activates via Steam for the Definitive Edition on PC.
3DS XL is almost the same price as Xbone and PS4. Wtf.
You can't fit an xbone or ps4 in your pocket.
Need a video card deal
