E3 2016: Watch the Nintendo Treehouse livestream here

The event kicks off at 9 a.m. PDT / noon EDT.

22

Nintendo isn't having too much of a presence at E3 this year. No Nintendo NX, and no other games besides Legend of Zelda Wii U on the show floor. But it will have a Treehouse event today at 9 a.m. PDT / noon EDT, where they plan to show Zelda and Pokemon Sun and Moon.

There will be gameplay and streaming throughout the day, including some behind the scenes details. Streaming will continue tomorrow as well, with a special Pokémon GO developer Q&A session. Then Nintendo Treehouse: Live will showcase upcoming games such as Monster Hunter Generations, Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.

This should be fun, but we will miss Iwata-san. He always enjoyed these.

This Pokemon stream is really, really boring. I bet the game might be fun to play, but it's not something that's fun to watch.

If there was one game I don't think would need to be shown and just announced to sell well, it would have to be Pokemon. It is the same damn game I got however many years ago and I'll buy it again without seeing it at e3.

It's pretty, but... this doesn't look as good as the original reveal. Hard to say if the framerate is a bit low because of the stream or because of the WiiU

Zelda is the most interesting game I've seen so far at E3, and I am not a fan of 3D Zelda. I want Skyrim Zelda with climbing.

Though originally scheduled for 2016, the release of the latest The Legend of Zelda title is postponed until 2017, to allow further improvement of quality. Thank you for your understanding,"

More like, we want you to buy an NX and not a WiiU
