If you didn't get a chance to play Dragon Age: Inquisition, the role-playing game we voted Game of the Year in 2014, then you'll get a new chance on October 6th - when the Game of the Year Edition releases for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

As expected, the Game of the Year Edition will include the main game and all three of its story expansions: Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, and Trespasser. That's in addition to the specialized gear from add-ons like the Deluxe Edition upgrades, Spoils of the Avvar, and Spoils of the Qunari.

You'll need all the gear you can get your hands on, as you explore the lands, make important decisions, and bring order back to a world that's being torn apart by interdimensional rifts. Meet new people, consolidate your power, and slay a few dragons while you're at it.

Oh yeah. That was definitely the wrong order to play those games.

Since this isn't on steam, any reason to buy this on the pc over the Xbox One version?

      Nice.
I thought EA were going the Mass Effect route with this - Never discounting DLC, and never putting out a GOTY edition.

DA:O had the Ultimate Edition but DA2 didn't. I guess they REALLY wanted to please people this time around.

They finally stopped that idiotic BioWare points things to purchase DLC. DA2 DLC has never gone on sale and there is no ultimate edition. Makes no sense really.
