No Man's Sky studio founder discusses development and working with Sony

Shacknews caught up to Hello Games founder Sean Murray at PlayStation Experience and spoke to him about the upcoming No Man's Sky.

No Man's Sky had a huge presence at this month's PlayStation Experience event, which is fairly remarkable, given that there was no playable build available. However, developer Hello Games was in attendance and Shacknews took the opportunity to speak to them.

Hello Games founder Sean Murray talks to our own John Gaudiosi about working with Sony and how their resources have helped the game's development along. He also talks about the gameplay beyond the discovery element, while also talking about the unique experience of finding a star system to call your own.

No Man's Sky is coming soon to PlayStation 4. Check out our full interview below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
