LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is preparing to unleash a previously-unannounced DLC pack early next year. It'll center around a certain band of rogues that has recently been in the news for their upcoming film adaptation. That DLC will center around the Suic... er... the Squad! Yes, the Squad! (Remember: this is a kids game!)

The new DLC campaign will see The (not Suicide) Squad (comprised of Deadshot, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, and Captain Boomerang) investigate a break-in at Belle Reve Penitentiary. This perpetrator has a handful of Squad leader Amanda Waller's secrets, so it's up The Squad to take this mysterious villain down before they're all exposed.

The Squad DLC's announcement comes days after the other two pieces of the Lego Batman 3 Season Pass were revealed. The Bizarro World Pack will band together members of the Bizarro Justice League to save Bizarro World. Meanwhile, the Arrow Pack will take advantage of the CW show's popularity and have players defend Starling City as Green Arrow, voiced by the show's star, Stephen Amell.

All of the aforementioned DLC will be included as part of the game's Season Pass, but will also be available a la carte. A separate add-on called Heroines and Villainesses is also coming soon and that will be available as a free download.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
