LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will will be releasing this November to retailers by itself as well as a part of a new PlayStation 3 bundle Sony announced yesterday. Those who expect to spend a lot of time in the world of LEGO Batman 3 will be excited to hear the title will be receiving a season pass that will combine six DLC packs into one discounted purchase.

The first three DLC packs included in the season pass will be made available once LEGO Batman 3 releases on November 11 in the US and November 14 in Europe. It will include The Dark Knight Pack, which features the chase scene from the well-known film. Players can play as the Dark Knight, Commissioner Gordon, Joker, Bane and Catwoman.

The second pack, called the Man of Steel Pack, has players helping Jor-El, his wife Lara and their robot Kelex to send their infant Kal-el into space towards the safety of Earth in the middle of Krypton’s demise. Players will find their way into Jor-El’s home, battle against General Zod’s forces and ultimately battle Zod himself.

The final pack celebrates Batman’s 75th anniversary and has you playing as Joker and Harley who are in the process of setting up a variety of celebration set pieces. You’ll also play as some of Batman’s most iconic faces throughout the years, including his first appearance in Detective Comics #27.

The season pass will retail for $14.99 while each piece of DLC will cost $2.99 a piece. The remaining three pieces of DLC content expected to be a part of LEGO Batman 3’s season pass have yet to be detailed.

So if you buy them individually you would spend $18. The "discounted" price is $15. Not a very big incentive.
