UPDATE: Unfortunately, we ran into some technical hiccups today that prevented us from streaming, but we will be tyring again today! (Thursday, October 7 at 4:20 p.m. PT / 7:20 p.m. ET). Be sure to tune in then to catch all the action.

Boy oh boy, have I got a special treat for you today! Nintendo has been gracious enough to allow us to stream their upcoming release, Metroid Dread, for 30 minutes ahead of its launch this Friday. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do this afternoon.

Interested parties can tune into the official Shacknews Twitch channel at 4:20 p.m. PT / 7:20 p.m. ET to watch me as I take on all sorts of nasty aliens and robots in Metroid Dread. I’ll also be taking questions from the audience and having a generally good time because as some of you may have already read in my review, I really like this game. If you don’t feel like leaving the warm comfort of the Shacknews website, you can still catch all the action in the embedded vid player below, but you won’t be able to chat with us.

No matter how you choose to view our livestreaming content, we appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to watch our shows. If you feel like going the extra mile, you can always give us a follow or a sub on our Twitch channel. Maybe you’ve got an Amazon Prime account and you’re not sure what to do with that free monthly sub. We’d be more than happy to take that burden off your shoulders. We even have a guide that can help you connect your Amazon Prime and Twitch accounts to take advantage of the free sub feature. Regardless of whether or not you decide to give a follow or sub, we thank you for tuning in!
