How to get King's Call in Borderlands 3

If you want to get your hands on the best guns in Borderlands 3, then you’re going to want to add the King’s Call to your list. A revolver, the King’s Call packs a powerful punch and has quickly become one of the most wanted weapons since Borderlands 3’s release. In this guide, we’ll teach you how to get the King’s Call and add it to your collection.

Because King’s Call is acquired later in the game, we’d like to include a spoiler warning right here. If you haven’t completed the main campaign story in Borderlands 3 and don’t want to spoil late-game bosses, then we suggest turning away now and returning after the credits roll.

How to get King’s Call in Borderlands 3

In order to acquire the King’s Call (or even the Queen’s Call, which appears to be the same gun with a different Element and the same perk) is to farm Tyreen the Destroyer, the final boss in Borderlands 3. This is by far one of the tougher boss fights due to the damage that Tyreen can deal with her various attacks, so you’ll want to come prepared with some tough guns and maybe even some friends.

The King’s Call and Queen’s Call all drop with the flavor text Life is ours, we live it our way. They also include the Critical hits perk, which causes critical hits to return 3 bullets to your magazine and ricochet 3 bullets at the nearest enemy. This is a fantastic perk to have on your weapon, especially with a hard-hitting revolver that easily hits critical spots on enemies. Thankfully farming Tyreen the Destroyer isn’t too difficult, as you’ll have a checkpoint right before the boss fight. Head in, defeat the boss, and if you don’t receive the weapon, then head back to the main menu and load back in. Make sure to enable Mayhem Mode III for additional loot chances as well.
