The Great Quakeholio Tournament 2: Round of 32 Quake Champions Highlights

Shacknews presents the world's dopest gaming tournament. Held live at QuakeCon 2019, the Great Quakeholio Tournament 2 opening round featured Quake Champions.

Among the many announcements, reveals, and panels during this year’s QuakeCon 2019 in Texas, the most exciting development was sure The Great Quakeholio Tournament 2. Hosted live from the Gaylord Texan hotel Lone Star Tower, the tournament features action from multiple classic games that are near and dear to the hearts of QuakeCon attendees. The grand prize of $6000 will be awarded to the Grand Champion, but they must first defeat the 31 other entrants, starting in 4-player Quake Champions deathmatch combat.

The embedded highlight above includes the entire opening round round of 32, with eight separate sessions of 4-player deathmatches. In each session, the top two players will advance to the round of 16 Wolfenstein 3D Score Attack. Enjoy commentary from the three-man team of Asif Khan, David Craddock, and Blake Morse as you take in the sights and sounds of high stakes Quake Champions.
