There's only one day that remains. Summer Games Done Quick is nearly at an end, about to wrap up a full seven days of incredible speedruns. The best speedrunners in the world look to complete their mission to run through the best games of the past and present while raising money for charity.

Summer Games Done Quick comes to you from Bloomington, MN. This year's event is raising money for Doctors Without Borders. The runners have already surpassed $1.5 million and still have one more day left. Shacknews is here with a handful of noteworthy runs for this final day that should not be missed, but first, let's relive one of the most memorable moments of Day 6.

Here's the full schedule for Day 7, taken from the Games Done Quick website, along with a handful of noteworthy runs to check out:

11:51AM - Super Mario World

The Mario ROMhack block was fun and all, but we're ending SGDQ on 2D Mario proper. Arguably the greatest 2D Mario game of all-time is on display, as Seathorne, truman, and TNT all race to complete the full game, finding all 96 exits. Find out who wins this epic race to help complete the SGDQ week.

2:12PM - Link to the Past + Super Metroid Combo Randomizer

Randomizers have quickly become one of the most entertaining parts of the Games Done Quick events and a lot of that got started with the addition of the The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Metroid combo randomizer. For the unfamiliar, this special game takes both of these 16-bit classics and randomizes locations of all items across both games. So that means Super Metroid items can be found in A Link to the Past and vice-versa. A lot of bad RNG can go wrong here, which is a big part of the fun.

In the meantime, Andy and Ivan will switch off between both games, each going until they hit a wall that requires the other person to tag in. It's an amazing spectacle to watch and it'll be on display for most of Saturday afternoon.

5:22PM - Chrono Trigger

An all-time classic RPG wraps up the week. And it's a Glitchless run, which means players will get to experience the full epic story from start to finish. Join puwexil and the rest of the SGDQ team, as they send this week's event out with a bang, as everyone runs through one of the greatest RPGs ever made together.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
