Get married, Final Fantasy 14 style, with this cool new Japanese wedding service.

If you're looking to get married anytime soon and are an avid Final Fantasy 14 fan, a new service from Square Enix and Bridal Hearts is certainly the one for you.

Square Enix and Bridal Hearts have partnered to offer a special "Final Fantasy 14-themed Wedding Service" in Japan. This doesn't mean you get to marry the game or your character or anything weird like that. Instead, you can marry your real-life partner in a special ceremony with elements taken from the Final Fantasy 14 Eternal Bonding Ceremony. It's a real-life wedding with matching outfits, decorations, and Final Fantasy 14 themes as part of an official wedding ceremony. Don't go doing this as a joke wedding, because it's the real deal.

This Final Fantasy wedding looks adorable.

Both the wedding dress and tuxedo for the bride and groom are modeled after those in Final Fantasy 14, and plenty of assets from the game will be used to decorate the wedding ceremony while it's all going on. Music taken straight from Final Fantasy 14 will play during the procession, and you definitely get a Final Fantasy 14 cake with a full menu. Yes, you get a smorgasbord of Final Fantasy 14 food and drinks to tear through with your partner and everyone you invite. Man, that's a lot of food, or it had better be for the price and 70 people.

Honestly, it sounds like a dream wedding for some folks – especially if you're a big fan of the game. But it's not immediately obvious if this applies to Japanese citizens only or if Americans can get in on the fun. Hopefully if you want to take a trip to Japan to get married like this, you'll be able to, because it sounds pretty awesome.

Reservations for the wedding ceremony will be opening up in the next few weeks, according to director and producer Naoki Yoshida, so if you need some time to scrounge up the $31,500 it takes to pay for the standard plan with 70 guests, that's...probably not enough time. But it's fun to think about, especially if you're a big fan of the MMORPG and want to find a special way to celebrate your love for your favorite person in the world.
