Anthem’s VIP demo is taking place this weekend, giving players a chance to try out the game before it releases next month. Unlike the open demo, which is slated for next week, getting into the VIP demo will take a little doing. Here’s what you need to do if you want to join the Anthem closed VIP demo.

How to Join the Anthem VIP Demo

If you’re looking to get your name in the hat and join up with your friends in the Anthem VIP demo, then there are a few things you can do to gain access to the closed demo this weekend. We’ve already discussed when the Anthem VIP demo will start, so make sure you take a look at our guide for all that information.

To join the Anthem VIP demo, though, you’re going to need to do one of a couple of different things. First, you can preorder the game to gain access to the demo on whatever platform you purchased it on. This is a good option for anyone looking to get access to any preorder bonuses when the game releases.

Players can customize their Javelin and weapons to find a setup that suits them best.

If you aren’t looking to drop the $60 on the game just yet, then you can also join the VIP demo by subscribing to Origin Access or EA Access on PC and Xbox One respectively. This is a good option for those looking to get more out of their money, as Origin and EA Access also come with a good variety of other goodies and titles for you to play.

Finally, players who have access to the VIP demo can invite up to three of their friends using a special referral link that they can retrieve from the Anthem sign-up page where you enter your VIP demo code. On top of the VIP demo, Anthem will also have an open demo next weekend that players can dive into, which will give even more players a chance to try out the game and see what it is all about.

Be sure to check out our hands-on with Anthem to see what we think about the game so far.
