Whether you're a gamer who has yet to purchase a Nintendo Switch for some unknown reason or you might just be looking for a cosmetic upgrade from your current console, you're going to have a lot of bundle options this holiday season. On top of the few that have already been announced, Diablo 3 will also be getting a very cool Switch bundle of its own featuring some sweet hardware artwork.

Set to launch on November 2, the Diablo 3 Eternal Collection will have a custom-themed console and dock featuring what appears to be a demon and a knight facing off. Along with a tricked out console the bundle also features a custom carrying case and comes with a digital download for a full copy of Diablo 3, including all its DLC. The Eternal Collection Bundle will have a suggested retail price of $359.99 according to Business Wire.

The Switch version of Diablo 3 will also feature several unique pieces of content that have already been announced including several items inspired by the Legend of Zelda, such as Ganondorf's armor, a portrait of the Triforce, a purely cosmetic set of wings, and a chicken-like Cucco companion. We also know that the game will feature some limited Amiibo compatibility as well.

I got some hands-on time with Diablo 3 on the Switch at PAX West this year and loved the way it handled on the console. The opportunity to play with friends online as well as on-the-go is also making this particular version of the game very enticing.

Along with the Eternal Edition, Nintendo has also announced Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee and Smash Bros. bundles with custom console art as well that will be hitting store shelves this holiday season. Still, players will most likely want to pre-order the Diablo 3 Eternal Edition of the Nintendo Switch before it hit stores on November 2.

I am RIDICULOUSLY excited to play it. It will be my third time buying the game too. It even comes out on my birthday!

Problem is I'll be waist deep in RDR2 by then so it's going to have to wait.

Nah, it'd be the 4th time for me, and the game just doesn't have appeal to me after 6 years.

I'm pumped for a new Diablo when that happens though.

        Yeah I can’t wait.

It’s interesting, in this day and age of bundles and cheap games and shit, I’m finding myself not buying games much but when I do I’m looking for the ones with ridiculous value.

BOTW on Switch - $60, played it for 115 hours, ridiculous value

Skyrim on Switch - $60, played it for 70 hours and counting, ridiculous value.

Diablo 3 - $60, I can see myself playing the fuck out of it, ridiculous value.

I was. I really don't want to buy Nintendo's online stuff though.

I guess I mostly play SP d3 anyway. also, 60 bucks is going to be tough to swallow for the fourth purchase of the game.

Yeah this is where I’m at. When I heard about it I was like “Oh shit I regret buying mine now!!” but after seeing it I’m like “lol whatever.”

Blood red joycons or something along those lines would be cool. There are already two other red joycons though (Neon and Mario) so maybe something different. White and black with a red pattern across the two of them perhaps?

It'd be such a low volume item that it wouldn't make money for anyone other than resellers though. I don't think Nintendo will make alternate colors unless its something that they know they'd sell a ton of (ie - the yellow and brown Pokemon ones)

The red and black case with the Blizzard logo on the back is pretty slick but yeah, it’s not something that’s going to convince anyone not already on board. But if you haven’t bought a Switch yet and you thought it was cool it’s a neat way to go.
