Following up the surprise highlight of upcoming Nintendo Switch Nindies last week, Nintendo hosted "part 2" of their Summer Nindie showcase. There were a ton of announcements in this new video and one involved a couple indie darlings finally making their way to Nintendo Switch. Bastion and Transistor from Supergiant Games are finally releasing on the hybrid console.

Bastion, the first title from the developer, is bringing some action-RPG flavor to the Switch on September 13. Transistor brings sci-fi with a talking sword to Switch sometime in November 2018.

Not only is Nintendo Switch a premier home for current and upcoming projects from indie developers, but the company is retroactively adding quality indie games to the Nindie initiative and is wasting no time doing so. In addition to these two games from Supergiant Games, Hyper Light Drifter is coming to the Switch with exclusive content. A more recent indie hit, Into The Breach, was also announced for the Switch and is available to purchase right now.
