The folks at Subset Games won lots of favor with gamers following the release of their rogue-like space strategy classic FTL. Anticipation for their follow up was immense and the team dropped Into The Breach on Steam this past spring. The mech-filled strategy game proved the studio was no one hit wonder and now Into The Breach is arriving today on Nintendo Switch.
The surprise release of Into The Breach came during today’s Nindies Summer Showcase. The PC version of the game picked up favorable reviews and this new portable version carries over all the features seen in the original release. Players must use powerful mechs in turn-based combat against an subterranean alien threat or face extinction.
The game is initially available with English only in all eStore regions except Japan and is priced at $14.99.
