Games Done Quick Express schedule revealed for TwitchCon

Set to run for just three days, Games Done Quick Express will include runs for Super Mario Odyssey, Dark Souls III, and more.

With both Awesome Games Done Quick and Summer Games Done Quick finished, it appears that the biannual speedrunning event is done for 2018. However, there is one more event set to run this year. Recall that earlier this year, GDQ announced an abbreviated speedrunning weekend for TwitchCon 2018. On Saturday night, GDQ announced its schedule for Games Done Quick Express.

The weekend will include a Super Mario Odyssey any% race between NicroVeda and fir_, making it only the second time that the Shacknews 2017 Game of the Year Runner-Up has been run at a Games Done Quick event. It was run on the final day of this year's Summer Games Done Quick as a donation incentive.

Saturday will feature a Mega Man block, along with runs for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Dark Souls III. The weekend will end with a Sunday afternoon 70-Star run of Super Mario 64.

Proceeds from Games Done Quick Express will be spread across the various charities in attendance at TwitchCon's Charity Plaza. The event will be open to all TwitchCon attendees. TwitchCon will be held in San Jose, CA from October 25-28. Find the full schedule on the Games Done Quick website.
