E3 2018: Resident Evil 2 Remake Release Date Revealed

Book holidays now, because it's time to take a nice trip to Raccoon City.

Get ready to return to Raccoon City because the Resident Evil 2 remake is arriving January 25, 2019. This major reveal has been a long time coming, with fans all over the world waiting with baited breath ever since the game was announced as “in development” some three years ago.

Though the trailer did give a good indication of the graphical quality we can expect on release, no mention was made of the "Zapping" feature being included. For those unfamiliar with the system, when items were picked up on one character during one playthrough, they were missing on a second playthrough on the alternate character. This made planning out runs a little more demanding, as it was quite easy to leave the second character in a compromised state with no resources.
