Fortnite Strategies and Tips
- Keep your eyes and ears open for treasure chests out in the wilderness. You'll know when one is close by when you hear a high, tinkling sound effect. Treasure chests contain experience points, schematics to unlock and upgrade weapons, and supplies for building.
- Unlock heroes by completing quests and earning Llama packs. You can redeem Llama packs from the game's main menu.
- Daily Quests offer special objectives only good for a limited time. Complete them to earn even greater rewards.
- Action is one half of Fortnite, building bases is the other. Look for blueprints while out exploring and doing quests in order to build new structures.
- Finding a blueprint is only one step toward building a new structure. You may also need certain supplies to get the job done. Attempting to build a structure without the proper supplies will cause the game to tell you what you're missing, which is a good way to find out what you should be looking for while out scavenging.
- Fortnite's building system offers room for you to customize your structures. While building a wall, approach it and press the appropriate key or button to remove two blocks. That opening becomes a door.
- Running low on supplies? Look for quests that offer lots of materials as rewards.
