Considering Fuse is the first multiplatform release from Ratchet & Clank creator Insomniac Games, one might expect a little more buzz (that's an industry term) around the shooter. Perhaps we're a little tired of third-person cover-based shooters. But gamebees (likewise) can often be attracted with demoflowers, so publisher EA plans to plant a few (release a demo) next Tuesday.
Insomniac has released a new trailer for Fuse, showing off the game's chief antagonist, Fable.
A Ratchet & Clank film is coming to theaters in 2015, Sony has announced.
After almost a decade of Sony-exclusive releases, Resistance and Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac will launch its very first multiplatform game, Fuse, on May 28. That's the date announced over the weekend by publisher EA. The super-powered shooter, which boasts four-player co-op, is coming to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault has been pushed to spring 2013. Sony is giving a PS3 download of Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked for fans who bought the PS3 version.
Insomniac took to Facebook, describing its "frustration" with the lack of word about the Vita port of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault. The post has since been pulled.
Fuse, Insomniac Games' first multiplatform game, has been delayed.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is getting two significant patches: the first, coming this week, will add additional levels to the weapons, and the second in January will grant a free map.
Between its emphasis on teamwork, strong multiplayer options, and solid shooting mechanics, Fuse is looking like it'll be an impressive cooperative shooter if developer Insomniac can follow through.
Resistance is getting its own collection on December 5 for $39.99. It includes the trilogy of games and associated DLC.
