Zynga layoffs at OMGPOP no surprise, ex-staffer says

The reports of OMGPOP's closure as part of a massive layoffs at Zynga are apparently true, but one former employee said the end was not a surprise, and was met with no sadness.

Zynga lays off more than 500 employees, closes LA, NY, and Dallas offices

Social game developer Zynga has laid off 520 employees from their internal teams, and will be closing their Los Angeles, New York and Dallas offices in the process, the company has confirmed.

Zynga's chief game designer resigns, wants to work with smaller team

Zynga CEO confirms layoffs of 5% of work force

Zynga CEO Mark Pincus has confirmed yesterday's layoffs, a 5% reduction in staff and the closure of the Boston studio. Closures are also being proposed to its Japan and UK studios.
