Hey Meatbags! You knew the HK-51 Assassination droid was going to become available as a new companion in Star Wars: The Old Republic, but now we get an even closer look at the galaxy's most dangerous machines.

BioWare revealed the new trailer, showing the army buried on the ice world of Belsavis. There's something a bit chilling when it greets you as Master.

Sam Raimi no longer directing WoW movie

Spider-Man and The Evil Dead director Sam Raimi signed up to direct the long-planned World of Warcraft movie adaptation way back in 2009, but we've heard little about it since. At Comic-Con, though, Raimi revealed that he's no longer on the project, but it does seem to be going ahead.

Sonic Adventure 2 HD coming to PS3 and Xbox 360

Sega has confirmed earlier reports of a Sonic Adventure 2 port on current consoles, announcing the title during a "Sonic Boom" event held at San Diego Comic-Con. Coming to PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, the game is due some time this fall.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD revamps vintage fighter

While Asura's Wrath developer Cyberconnect2 works on a new game based upon long-running manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for Namco Bandai, Capcom's dusting off its own vintage JoJo fighting game for an HD re-release. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. will cost $20 on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, launching August 21 and August 22 respectively.

Korean dramas and anime coming to PS3 with Crunchyroll and Neon Alley apps

Fans of Asian cinema have two new apps to look forward to on the PlayStation 3. First up is Crunchyroll. This streaming video service specializes in anime and Korean dramas. For $6.95, you can get access to the service's anime or drama library, or get both for $11.95 a month. Anime titles include Naruto Shippuden, Hunter X Hunter, and more. Korean dramas include Dr. Jing, and Jumong.

Deadpool game announced, coming from Transformers dev

Meta comic book star Deadpool will be starring in his own video game, Activision has announced at San Diego Comic-Con. High Moon Studios, developer of the most recent Transformers games, is working on the project.

The first footage of the game shows off Deadpool's trademark sarcastic attitude combined with some very M-rated gun and sword play.

Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms trailer teases free-to-play combat

How does one turn a monstrously long and complex fantasy novel series into a video game? By stripping out the political intrigue and oh-so-outrageous twists to focus on the brief moments of combat, the first two adaptations of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series have shown. That's just what the free-to-play, browser-based Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms is doing too, and you can have a gander at the results in the first trailer, shown off at Comic-Con.

Street Fighter getting live-action series

Street Fighter has had a couple of notable missteps when it comes to translating the franchise to live-action, namely Street Fighter: The Movie and The Legend of Chun-Li. Will fans be able to make better than these Hollywood monstrosities? That's what Capcom plans on finding out. Well-received fan film "Street Fighter: Legacy" is getting the official treatment, set to become a full-on Web series backed by Capcom itself.
