Titanfall confirmed for 2014 release

After a early leak of a Game Informer cover and story, Titanfall was confirmed today by Electronic Arts and shown at Microsoft's press conference. The game, coming from former Call of Duty devs at Respawn Entertainment, will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in 2014.

It appears that the rumors were true. Respawn Entertainment's first title will be a multiplayer centric mech shooter call Titanfall, and is expected to be a Microsoft exclusive for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

Respawn Entertainment has continued to be cryptic about what its next game will be, teasing blurry images and a promised presence at this year's E3. While not much more has been revealed about the sci-fi shooter, Respawn has possibly given us a name: Titan.
