The BBC's video-on-demand service iPlayer launched as an Xbox 360 app today, so you can watch Doctor Who from the comfort and security behind your sofa. It's available to everyone in the UK, whether they're an Xbox Live Free or Gold member.

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock ticking in March

The Doctor's new adventure in Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be a side-on platformer, the first trailer has revealed. BBC Worldwide has also announced that it'll debut on PlayStation 3 and Vita via PlayStation Network in March.

BBC dipping into indie publishing

The BBC has announced it's moving into independent game publishing, and has already struck deals with some UK studios. Current platforms include Facebook, Flash, XBLA, and PSN.
