Square Enix announced last week a demo for World of Final Fantasy would be released on October 17. Today, the publisher stayed true to its promise as the demo is now available to download from the PlayStation Store.
The World of Final Fantasy demo will allow players to get a feel for the evolved version of the classic Active Time Battle (ATB) system as they’ll capture and raise Mirages, customizing various stacks, and upgrading Mirage Boards in order to unlock special skills and attacks. Those who complete the demo will go on to unlock the opportunity to obtain the “Magitek Armor P” in the Coliseum when playing the full version.
World of Final Fantasy is scheduled to launch on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on October 25th for $59.99 and $39.99, respectively. The Day One Edition of World of Final Fantasy includes additional digital content, including a Japanese voice-over option add-on and an exclusive Sephiroth summon. If you have the extra cash, we recommend splurging on the Collector’s Edition which features a 3D pop-up book, mini-figurines, and more.
Daniel Perez posted a new article, World of Final Fantasy US demo now available on PSN
Cool that demos are coming back
I'll try it. Is this game something I should be excited about? Releasing two $60 Final Fantasy games a month apart seems questionable.
