Square Enix announced a new Final Fantasy game this evening, but it wasn't what we previously expected. Instead, World of Final Fantasy was announced as an exclusive coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2016.

World of Final Fantasy takes place in a completely new universe and focuses on three pillars: to ensure anyone, regardless of age or gender, can play; delivers a game with a new vision; offers a new experience.  The game will be very simple, yet also, very deep to play.

The battle system involves players and monsters fighting together, called Towers. The strength and the abilities of the team is based on the formation of these Towers.
