Lost Odyssey Added To Xbox One Backwards Compatibility List

Cry a thousand more tears with Kaim and crew.

Lost Odyssey was an excellent JRPG that didn't get near enough credit, either for making me cry or for being a legimately enjoyable game. Unfortunately, the fact that it's still on Xbox 360 while many players have migrated to the Xbox One means an additional generation of players probably won't experience it. That's why it's such great news that Lost Odyssey is now available to play on Xbox One thanks to the magic of backwards compatibility.

The JRPG from 2008 was designed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and follows the amnesiac Kaim Argonar as he wanders the world trying to regain his memories. It's also extremely sad, if I haven't said that enough already. I'm serious. There aren't enough warnings on the box. It's an excellent game, however, and one that you should absolutely try out if you're ready to cry your eyes out.

Additionally, Toy Story 3 and Guwange are available to play, but the more hardcore gamers will undoubtedly thrill to see Lost Odyssey join the roster of titles available to revisit once more. In fact, you should probably go play it right now. Go ahead, we'll wait.
