Some fans weren't too happy when developer Respawn Entertainment revealed that the highly anticipated Titanfall 2 tech test would not include PC. "Hardware variety and 'min spec' optimization" were cited as the reason. But Respawn isn;t letting the PC folks hanging, releasing today the PC specs for the game, as well as a deep dive into all of the different technical wonders that PC players will be able to play with.

"Our goal for minimum PC specs on Titanfall 2 is that you can play at a 1600x900 resolution with most details turned on and average around 60fps," producer Drew McCoy said in a blog post. "We strongly believe that if you at least match the posted requirements you should have an excellent visual and gameplay experience playing the game, so don’t be alarmed if you boot it up and don’t need to turn all the settings to Low for playable framerates."

McCoy also went into a fairly detailed description of the new tech in the game, ran benchmarks on various settings, and even listed the PC options players can use. He also delves into the anti-cheat measures in the game.

"Hopefully enough PC information to get you guys through the next 5 weeks until launch," he said. Titanfall 2 comes out on October 28.
