We've had fun with teasers before. But I have to give Sega credit for this tease. It is a 30-second video that could easily have been a JPG.

So what do we know? Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War has an announcement coming tomorrow at 7 a.m. PT. That's it. the 30 seconds of static video shows nothing else, unless you count that they were nice enough to convert that to GMT for us. The image shows an island shrouded in mist, but is it really? Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe this is a new Last Stand character reveal. No, that would be too cruel.

This could be Dawn of War 3. Sega did register the domain last year. Sega purchased Dawn of War and Company of Heroes developer Relic Entertainment during THQ's bankruptcy sale in 2013, but we haven't had a new RTS in the series since Dawn of War 2: Retribution in late 2011. The original was released back in 2004. This past September, Steam had a free weekend for the Dawn of War games, so that could have been to judge interest in a sequel.

Well, I guess the joke is on me because I just wrote about the teaser that showed nothing. Of course, if you like the Dawn of War franchise, then you'll want to check back tomorrow when something more substantial is revealed.
