Halo 5: Guardians continues to add to its multiplayer modes with today's latest update. Infinity's Armor was teased last week, but now 343 is ready to unleash this free update on the Halo 5 masses.

The big draws are the pair of new maps, one for each game mode. Riptide will hit Arena with what's essentially a Forerunner base, filled with winding turns across steel and sandy terrain. Meanwhile, Urban will grace Warzone with a massive open course built around an old, abandoned metroplex, with the area's Armory capture point located on a central grassy hill.

This update will also introduce Halo 2's classic Battle Rifle as a Mythic REQ, as well as some new Carbine and ACHILLES armor variants. More information on this latest update, as well as full patch notes, can be found on Halo Waypoint and in the video below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
