While Ubisoft unveiled its closed beta dates for Tom Clancy's The Division earlier today, the folks at Microsoft have put together plans for a new Xbox One console bundle set to feature the game as its centerpiece.

The Xbox One hardware itself will be standard black with an Xbox One controller, with no additional design bells and whistles. However, it will come with a 1TB hard drive and a downloadable copy of Tom Clancy's The Division. Pre-ordering the bundle will grant those owners early access to the game's closed beta, which is set to kick off on January 28.

The bottom of the Major Nelson post has this bundle pegged for a March 1 release date, but the actual pre-order links have it in line for The Division's official release date of March 8. The bundle is set to run for $399.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
