Street Fighter 5 PC requirements revealed as next beta looms

There's another Street Fighter V beta coming soon and this one will include PC users, so Capcom has released the PC system requirements to help prepare those players.

The Street Fighter V beta wrapped up on PlayStation 4 a while ago, but there's still one lined up for PC a little later down the line. But before that can happen, PC owners might want to be sure their system can even run Capcom's next fighter. Fortunately, the PC specs have been revealed and they don't look to be too heavy.

Here are the PC system requirements for Street Fighter V, as stated by Capcom-Unity:

Minimum requirements

  • Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz or better
  • 6 GB DDR3 RAM or more
  • Nvidia GTX 480, GTX 570, GTX 670, or higher
  • DirectX 11

Recommended requirements

  • Windows 7 64-bit OS
  • Intel Core i5-4690K @ 3.50GHz or better
  • 8 GB DDR3 RAM or more
  • Nvidia GTX 960
  • DirectX 11

No word on when Capcom will hold the next Street Fighter V beta, but the publisher is noting that this will be the one that tests out PS4 and PC cross play, so perhaps console owners will want to keep an eye out, as well.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
