Ubisoft took the stage next for Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference, revealing a new DLC add-on for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Syndicate. After the game is released, players can look forward to all-new content starring Jack the Ripper.

It's not known whether Jack is an Assassin or a Templar, but one thing is for sure. This looks to be a major tonal shift from Assassin's Creed campaigns to this point, with the player evidently controlling a character that's distinctly not a good dude. Get a glimpse of what to expect in the video below.

Ubisoft has also revealed the existence of an Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Gold Edition, which will come with the Season Pass out of the box. Pricing details have not been revealed about this edition of the game just yet, but stay tuned.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
